All the reviews are correct. Fantastic little bbq that cooks evenly in all weather. First adventure was out on our boat - didn’t catch any lunch so smashed out some sausages - what a treat to have such a space saver onboard that was quick and easy to set up and bang out a hot lunch on a cold day. Just buy-one you won’t regret it 😁😁

Had the og Cobb for years (with the coconut husk disks fuel). Just purchased the Cobb lpg version and it is awesome 👌. First cook on it, a scotch fillet and eye fillet. Delicious 😋.

I can feel this is going to be a great addition to our camping, once we are used to cooking with it as there are so many cooking option from baking, pizza, rotisserie, stir-fry & the list goes on. Have only done some lamb chops with roast potatoes under neath the Griddle plate and a couple of smoked Kawhai, (getting ready for trout fishing trip). Took some effort to work out how to do the smoking and a Facebook post to get the missing answers, though happy with results & room for improvement to get up to speed where the portable BBQ smoker conversion is at. (To those who have used sawdust/chip smokers you MUST soak the chip in water, not sawdust!.) One big suggestion would be to make available a downloadable PDF recipe guide so one can get the basics of cooking with the Cobb as it is quite a different style to a BBQ with a lot more options available, being web based this could be updated very easy as new ideas come in.
We did roast chicken, and vegetables for lunch, was awesome. So moist. Also bacon eggs and bagels for breakfast. Thank you so worth it.

Absolutely love our new cob grill. Photo is just of our test run at home but we’re camping right now and have used it heaps. So many good cooking surfaces and so compact. Best piece of kit we’ve bought in a very long time!

The Cobb is super versatile and really easy to take anywhere. Its portability is definitely its best feature. The grill is on the smaller side because of that, but it’s a fair compromise and not really an issue if you don’t mind taking your time. Pizzas cooked pretty quickly and came out nice and crispy as long as the pizza stone was preheated. The rotisserie add‑on was great too, we have done roast chicken and roast duck with it, and both turned out juicy and full of flavour. Our friends are a little envious of our cool little Cobb now!
Awesome unit I have both charcoal and gas ones gas for short cook ups and charcoal for long cook ups. I put smoking chips in a stainless bowl on top of gas burner for Smokey flavors
Took it out on the beach at Pohara. Dinner was ready and delicious in no time.
We love our Cobb bundle. The whole family is using it, they take it everywhere...the boat, the beach, camping and use it at home. The accessories make it so versatile, you can cook anything imaginable! We don't worry about wind on the boat, it never goes out with its protective outside and it packs up so tidy in its handy bag. It is very economical on fuel. My favourite dish is a baked brie with runny honey, nuts , dukkah and cranberry sauce...yum!
So easy to use! Got hubby it for Christmas and our first use was at the river cooking sausages, for a classic saus on bread with the kids! It was really Windy and no issues!

Cooks to perfection,first time i used it i thought it was slow but after cooking beside multiple other cookers,i ended up cooking there food to for 10-14 people and useing theres bbq's to keep the food warm,also cleanup is easy and quicker than the bbq's,uses minimal gas and dont have to lug around a 9kg bottle,very happy with this purchase,cannot wait to use it on a boat as that is the reason i bought the cobb but so far have used it on long journeys at the beach,4wd trips,overnight holiday trips
Bought for my husband as a gift at Christmas. He loves cooking, especially out and about, but often remarks the BBQ is limiting. He cooked a whole chicken, stuffing and potatoes on the grill for our Christmas dinner and it was amazing!!! Can’t wait to take it on all our trips. I’m really looking forward to pizzas at the beach!!
Firstly, biggest issue is the lid really doesn’t fit properly. Secondly, no one wants that shitty non stick on anything anymore get rid of it. Thirdly, the rubber like spacers begin to melt.
Perfect cooker to whip up a bolognese under the gazebo on a gloomy evening. Enough room to cook for 11 people and only one pan clean up!
Very happy fed about 9 kids and about 6 adults ..hot plate gets nice and hot the food sizzles so definitely recommend..10 out of 10

I love my new cobb bbq . It’s so easy to cook an easy meal for 2 rather than getting the big family bbq turned on . Or if i just want a few grilled veg kebabs for example to go with our meal I can just pop out from the kitchen and put them in . It’s amazing . i cooked a boned chicken yesterday . It was delicious
